Risk Management System (RMS)

Essentials: The more "Yes" the more effective is your RMS:

  1. Our processes work acoording COSO I and COSO ERM, and all laws requiring RMS-procedures are adhered to.
  2. SOX, the 8. EU-rule or other regulations had strengthen our governance set-up.
  3. RMS is audited once a year by our external auditor without qualified opinions known.
  4. Subjects of RMS are discussed in our executive committees twice a year at least.
  5. We had implemented a Early Warning System (EWS) years ago and could benefit from it.

  1. Our company is too small to afford an Internal Audit Department.
  2. Outsourced IA is no solution for us in the long run.
  3. We need advice to fully understand RMS, Corporate Governance, Internal Control, and Internal Audit.
  4. We don´t like to hire our external auditor for that purpose because of conflict of interests.
